When I met Jon Burrier, we instantly clicked and he become a fast friend. I started this project as a photographic series, but decided, especially as someone who identifies as queer myself, Jon's unique experience deserved more than just photographs. I made this video portrait of him when I was 19 and he was 24. This is a glimpse into his personal worldview and what its like living with someone who doesn't accept you.
